Ryan Vautier

Worlds for the places in between, particles that fuel our waking hours are digitised and burn through retinas into mindless scrolling and visuals of the benign. Flora and fauna crying at the echoes of the moon and weeping at the harsh light of day.

Ryan Vautier is a creative director and CGI artist based in London, making 3D work for music, fashion and galleries, usually from the first idea through to the final render.

Recent work includes music videos for Fat Dog, Kwes and The 1975. His video for Fat Dog's Wither was nominated at the London International Animation Festival. He also worked on CGI and animation for Imogen Heap's I AM ___, which picked up a Webby and a Kinsale Shark. Other projects include a digital cover for Gay Times, cover CGI for Ashnikko in BRICKS, installations with Keiken, and vehicles for Lawrence Lek's Theta, which screened at International Film Festival Rotterdam.

He mostly works in Blender and Unreal Engine, and has worked with Nike, Maison Margiela, Grimes, Bastille, Dazed and Tate, among others.
